ONTOUR is committed to providing a safe environment for all users, including young people. Although ONTOUR is designed for adults and older teenagers who attend football matches, we take clear steps to prevent unauthorised access by children and to ensure their safety.

Age Requirements
ONTOUR does not permit users under 13 to create an account.
Users aged 13–17 may use the app only with parental permission.
Age verification measures may be used during registration or if misuse is suspected.

Protection Measures
Profiles, content uploads, and communication features are monitored for safety violations.
No private messaging is permitted in the current version of ONTOUR.
Personal data from anyone under 18 is never used for marketing purposes.

Prohibited Conduct
Users must not: Upload any content involving minors in unsafe, harmful, or exploitative     situations.
Attempt to contact underage users for inappropriate purposes.
Provide misleading age information.

Moderation & Enforcement
ONTOUR uses automated systems and human moderation to detect potentially harmful content involving minors.
Any content that endangers a child is removed immediately.
Accounts involved in child endangerment or grooming behaviour are permanently banned.
Serious cases are escalated to the appropriate authorities.

Reporting Child Safety Issues
If you encounter content involving child endangerment, please report it immediately via the in-app reporting tool or email enquiries@ontourfootball.com.

2. CSAM Prevention Standards

ONTOUR maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We comply fully with UK law and international safety guidelines.

Our Zero-Tolerance Policy
Any suspected CSAM is immediately removed.
Accounts uploading or sharing CSAM are permanently banned.
When legally required, ONTOUR reports incidents to: The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF – UK),  Relevant law enforcement agencies, Hosting and platform partners (Google/Apple)

Detection & Prevention
We implement multiple safeguards:
Automated detection using industry-standard safety signals.
AI-based scanning for harmful patterns.
Manual review by trained human moderators.
Prevention of re-uploading known CSAM hashes.

Moderator Training
Our moderation team is trained to:

3. Moderation Rules

ONTOUR allows fans to share football matchday experiences.
To keep the community safe and respectful, all users must follow these rules.

General Principles
Football passion is welcome; abuse is not. Content must not harm, threaten, or exploit individuals. Hate speech, violence, and illegal content are strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Content
CSAM or any sexual content involving minors.
Graphic violence, self-harm encouragement, or promotion of criminal activity.
Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation.
Harassment, threats, or stalking.
Copyright infringement.
Deepfakes or manipulated content intended to deceive. Extreme political content unrelated to football.

Football-Specific Rules
Hooliganism, violent conduct, or incitement is not allowed. Pyrotechnics (flares, smoke bombs) may be shown only when used legally and safely.
Offensive chants may be moderated or removed.

Content Review Process
Automated systems flag high-risk uploads.
Human reviewers assess context and severity.
Content  may be: Approved, Removed, Restricted to adults, Sent for additional review

Enforcement Actions
Warning or temporary account restrictions.
Removal of offending content.
Permanent suspension for severe or repeated violations.
Reports to law enforcement where required.

How to Report Content in the App
Tap the Report button on any content or user profile.
Select the reason (e.g., harassment, hate speech, CSAM, impersonation).
Add optional details to help us review the issue.
Submit the report.

How We Handle Reports
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Urgent cases (e.g., child safety, threats, CSAM) are prioritised.
If necessary, content is removed immediately while an investigation is ongoing.

Response Times
High-risk reports: usually within 1–6 hours.
Standard reports: within 24–48 hours.

Escalation
If content poses legal or safety risks, we may: Contact law enforcement. Contact platform partners such as Google or Apple. Apply urgent account restrictions.
